Introducing LatisseDo you want longer, thicker, darker lashes? There is now a prescription treatment for permanent eyelash enhancement, without any in office treatment! Introducing LATISSE™ from Allergan pharmaceuticals, available from Drs. Kline, Boyd and Chivers.

LATISSE™ (bimatoprost ophthalmic solution 0.03%) is a new FDA approved prescription treatment for hypotrichosis. It is used to grow eyelashes, making them stronger, thicker and darker. Hypotrichosis is the name for the condition described as having inadequate or not enough eyelashes.

We are excited to offer LATISSE™ an innovative new product engineered to help boost eyelash growth and thickness. The medication is dropped onto an applicator, which is then applied to the base of the lashes. Patients should see results within two months, with results lasting for about one to two months. For best results patients are recommended to use LATISSE™daily.

LATISSE™is a pharmacological preparation designed to enhance eyelash growth during the growth phase of the eyelash hair cycle. The drug is believed to act to increase the length of this phase and also to increase the number of hairs in the growth phase. The exact mechanism of action is unknown. LATISSE™ is available by prescription only and works as a permanent lash enhancer until the hair falls out. Continued use of LATISSE™ensures continued visibility of results. If you wish to stop using LATISSE™, the hair will follow its natural cycle and enhanced hairs will be replaced with natural hairs as the lashes grow and fall out, typical over several weeks to months.
